Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin against the grain
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Toss beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry beef until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. Add remaining oil. Stir-fry bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas for 3 minutes.

  4. Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Return beef to wok. Add oyster sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together for 2 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately over steamed rice.
